Day 1 : Arrive Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda!

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, located along the shores of Lake Victoria, you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a short drive (approx. 10 km / 20 minutes) to your hotel in Entebbe for check-in and relaxation. If time permits, optional activities may include visiting the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), or enjoying a serene sunset along the lakefront. Dinner and overnight stay in Entebbe.

Day 2 : Entebbe to Kibale National Park – Into the Forest Wilderness

After an early breakfast, depart by road for Kibale National Park, often referred to as the primate capital of the world. The scenic journey takes approximately 5.5 to 6 hours (approx. 325 km) through lush countryside, tea plantations, and traditional Ugandan villages. Arrive in Fort Portal, a beautiful town near the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, and continue to your lodge near Kibale Forest.

In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, an excellent community-run eco-tourism site rich in birdlife and primates. The swamp walk offers sightings of colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and a variety of bird species including the Great Blue Turaco. Dinner and overnight stay near Kibale National Park.(Meal:FB)

Day 3 : Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest – Unforgettable Encounters

Today is the highlight of your primate adventure. After breakfast, proceed to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your chimpanzee tracking experience. This guided trek through the rainforest lasts 2–4 hours (depending on where the chimps are found), covering a few kilometers of moderate hiking.

Kibale is home to over 1,500 chimpanzees, and sightings are highly likely. Along the way, look out for other forest dwellers such as L’Hoest’s monkeys, blue monkeys, and a variety of butterflies and birds. After lunch at the lodge, you may relax or take an optional walk to nearby crater lakes for scenic views and local interactions. Overnight stay near Kibale Forest.(Meal:FB)

Day 4 : Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Savannah & Scenic Beauty

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse and iconic wildlife reserves. The drive takes approximately 3 hours (approx. 120 km) through the lush landscapes of western Uganda. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.

In the afternoon, head out for a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, a 32-km long waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. This is one of the best places in East Africa to view hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and a dazzling array of water birds up close. The channel is also frequented by elephants and other big game. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay inside the park. (Meal:FB)

Day 5 : Game Drive – Return to Entebbe – Departure

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, a prime location for spotting lions, elephants, Uganda kob, hyenas, and other savannah wildlife. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the savannah as you explore the park’s diverse ecosystem.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Entebbe, which takes approximately 6–7 hours by road (approx. 400 km) with en-route lunch and scenic stops. Depending on your international flight time, you'll be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure, bringing your unforgettable Ugandan wildlife adventure to a close. (Meal:BB)
