Day 1 : Arrival at Colombo – Pinnawala – Kandy
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (Colombo), you will be warmly received by our representative. Begin your journey with a scenic drive to Pinnawala, home to the world-famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Watch elephants being fed and bathed in the river—an unforgettable experience for wildlife lovers. Continue your journey through lush green hills to reach Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and later visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), revered by Buddhists across the world. In the evening, enjoy a traditional cultural dance performance showcasing Sri Lankan music and folklore. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 2 : Kandy-Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey through Sri Lanka’s central highlands toward Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as “Little England” for its colonial charm and cool climate. En route, stop to visit a tea plantation and factory, where you can see the intricate process of tea production and taste some of the finest Ceylon tea. Enjoy a photo stop at the cascading Ramboda Falls and take in the refreshing mountain air. On arrival in Nuwara Eliya, enjoy a city tour including Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, and the Seetha Amman Temple, believed to be associated with the legend of Sita from the Ramayana. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 3 : Nuwara Eliya-Bentota-Kalutara
After breakfast, check out and head toward the southern coast of Sri Lanka, making your way to Bentota, a popular beach destination known for its golden sands and water sports. On arrival, you can visit the Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda to learn about sea turtle conservation and witness baby turtles being nurtured. You may also enjoy optional activities like river boat safaris on the Madu Ganga or relax at Bentota Beach. Later, proceed to Kalutara, a peaceful coastal town, for your overnight stay. Check into your beachside hotel and enjoy the tranquil ambiance by the Indian Ocean.
Day 4 : Kalutara-Colombo
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant capital city. Upon arrival, embark on a panoramic city tour covering major attractions such as Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, Colombo Fort, and the Old Parliament Building. Explore the bustling streets of Pettah Market or shop for souvenirs at Odel or House of Fashion. You’ll also pass through Colombo’s colonial quarters and modern commercial areas, giving you a full sense of the city’s blend of old and new. Enjoy your evening dining at a seaside restaurant or a chic café in Colombo 07. Overnight stay in Colombo.
Day 5 : Departure from Colombo
After a leisurely breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your flight back home.
