Day 1 : Arrival in Réunion Island – Transfer to Saint-Denis
Upon arrival at Roland Garros Airport, begin your journey in the stunning French island of Réunion Island, known for its volcanic landscapes and Creole culture. Meet and greet followed by a short transfer to Saint-Denis. After hotel check-in, explore the charming colonial streets including Rue de Paris, Creole mansions, and visit the famous Jardin de l'État. You can also explore Barachois waterfront for scenic ocean views. Evening at leisure to soak in the island vibe. Overnight stay in Saint-Denis.
Day 2 : Saint-Denis – Cirque de Salazie – Hell-Bourg Excursion
After breakfast, proceed for a breathtaking drive towards Cirque de Salazie, one of the island’s most scenic natural amphitheaters. En route, witness the mesmerizing Voile de la Mariée Waterfall cascading down lush green cliffs. Continue to Hell-Bourg, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, known for its colorful Creole houses and tranquil ambiance. Visit Maison Folio for a glimpse into traditional island life. Return to Saint-Denis by evening. Overnight stay.
Day 3 : Saint-Denis – Piton de la Fournaise Volcano – Plaine des Cafres
Post breakfast, head towards one of the world’s most active volcanoes, Piton de la Fournaise. Drive through the surreal landscapes of Plaine des Sables, often compared to a lunar surface. Stop at Pas de Bellecombe viewpoint for panoramic views of the volcanic crater. Experience short hikes (optional) and photography amidst dramatic scenery. Day 6 : Departure from Réunion Island
