Day 01 : Arrival in Almaty – A Glimpse of the City

Upon arrival at Almaty International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and a short rest, set out for a panoramic city tour to get acquainted with the charm of Almaty – Kazakhstan’s largest city, nestled at the foot of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. Drive past key landmarks like Almaty Opera House, Republic Square, and Astana Square, soaking in the blend of Soviet-era architecture and modern cityscapes. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a traditional Kazakh restaurant and return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 : Full-Day Almaty City Tour – Culture and Mountains

After breakfast, begin your guided city tour with a visit to Panfilov Park, home to the striking Zenkov Cathedral, one of the tallest wooden buildings in the world. Walk through the tranquil surroundings and stop by the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, dedicated to the soldiers of World War II. Continue to the Green Bazaar, a vibrant local market where you can explore spices, fruits, crafts, and everyday Kazakh life.

In the afternoon, take a cable car ride up to Kok-Tobe Hill, the highest point in the city. From here, enjoy panoramic views of Almaty’s skyline and the majestic mountains in the distance. The hill also features a small amusement park, souvenir shops, and a monument to The Beatles. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 03 : Day Trip to Shymbulak & Medeo – Adventure and Alpine Beauty

After breakfast, gear up for a refreshing escape to the mountains. Drive to the famous Medeo Gorge, home to the world’s highest outdoor ice skating rink. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, this stunning area is a favorite for winter sports and nature lovers. Next, take the cable car up to Shymbulak Ski Resort, a year-round destination for skiing, hiking, and breathtaking alpine views.

Spend your afternoon enjoying the crisp mountain air, sipping tea at one of the cafés, or simply taking in the beauty of the Tian Shan Mountains. Return to Almaty in the late afternoon. Evening free at leisure or optional Kazakh cultural show with dinner. Overnight stay in Almaty.

Day 04 : Big Almaty Lake Excursion – Nature’s Hidden Gem

After breakfast, embark on a half-day tour to Big Almaty Lake, one of Kazakhstan’s most photographed natural wonders. Located about 25 km from the city in the Ile-Alatau National Park, this turquoise-blue alpine lake sits at an altitude of 2,511 meters and is surrounded by majestic mountain peaks and pine forests. The scenic drive itself is a highlight, with winding roads and panoramic viewpoints.

Spend time enjoying the serenity of the lake, clicking memorable photos, and experiencing the crisp mountain breeze. On your return to Almaty, stop by Sunkar Falcon Farm (time permitting) to watch a spectacular bird of prey demonstration, showcasing the art of falconry. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 05 : Departure from Almaty

After breakfast and check-out, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or a casual stroll through the city’s boulevards. Later, you’ll be transferred to Almaty International Airport for your departure flight, bringing an end to a refreshing and enriching Kazakh adventure.
