Day 1 : Welcome to Iceland – Arrival in Reykjavik

Upon arrival at Keflavik International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Reykjavik, Iceland's charming capital. Depending on your arrival time, take the opportunity to explore the vibrant city at your own pace. Stroll along the lively Laugavegur shopping street, admire the striking architecture of Hallgrímskirkja Church, and enjoy panoramic views from Perlan. Consider visiting the Harpa Concert Hall and enjoy a delicious Icelandic meal at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

Day 2 : The Golden Circle and South Coast Marvels

After breakfast, embark on the classic Golden Circle tour. Begin with Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Continue to the bubbling geothermal area of Geysir, home to the famous Strokkur geyser that erupts every few minutes. Next, witness the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, a two-tiered cascade dropping into a deep canyon. Proceed along the scenic south coast to Skógar, visiting the spectacular Skógafoss waterfall. Day 4 : Eastern Fjords Adventure – Höfn to Egilsstaðir

Today’s journey takes you through the remote and stunning East Fjords, characterized by narrow roads winding along dramatic fjords, fishing villages, and rugged cliffs. Make stops at picturesque towns like Djúpivogur and admire Iceland’s oldest mountains. Explore Petra’s Stone Collection in Stöðvarfjörður, a fascinating display of minerals. Arrive in Egilsstaðir, the largest town in East Iceland, nestled by Lake Lagarfljót. Overnight stay in Egilsstaðir.

Day 5 : Mystical Landscapes of Lake Mývatn

Depart for the Lake Mývatn region, one of Iceland’s most geologically diverse and visually surreal areas. Highlights include the pseudo-craters at Skútustaðir, the lava formations at Dimmuborgir, and the boiling mud pools and fumaroles at the Hverir geothermal area. Day 6 : Mývatn to Akureyri – Northern Delights

Take time to explore Akureyri’s botanical garden, charming town center, and the Church of Akureyri with its distinctive architecture. Day 7 : Historic Valleys – Akureyri to Borgarnes via Skagafjörður

Today’s drive takes you through Skagafjörður, a valley renowned for its horse breeding and rich history. Visit the Glaumbær Turf Farm Museum to learn about traditional Icelandic life. Continue through rolling farmlands and past volcanic landscapes to reach the west coast town of Borgarnes. Here, you can visit the Settlement Center Museum which offers insights into Iceland's early history. Overnight in Borgarnes.

Day 8 : West Iceland Wonders – Borgarfjörður, Þingvellir, and Return to Reykjavik

Explore the highlights of Borgarfjörður, including the beautiful Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls, and the hot spring Deildartunguhver – one of the most powerful in Europe. Travel back towards Reykjavik via Þingvellir National Park (if not visited earlier), reflecting on its historical and geological significance. Arrive back in Reykjavik for your final evening. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a fine local restaurant. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

Day 9 : Departure Day – Farewell Iceland
