Day 01 : Arrival at Yerevan
Upon your arrival at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to take a leisurely evening stroll around the city center, soaking in the atmosphere of Republic Square, where the musical fountains light up the night with a delightful show. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 02 : Yerevan City Tour – Matenadaran – Vernissage
After breakfast, embark on a comprehensive city tour of Yerevan, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities. The tour begins with panoramic views from Cascade Complex, an open-air museum of modern art with stunning views over the city and Mount Ararat. Continue to Republic Square, Opera House, and the Mother Armenia Monument. Later, visit Matenadaran, the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, home to thousands of priceless medieval documents. In the afternoon, explore the vibrant Vernissage open-air market, where you can shop for handmade crafts, jewelry, carpets, and souvenirs. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 03 : Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan
Today, take a scenic drive to the Garni Temple, the only standing Greco-Roman colonnaded building in the former Soviet Union, dramatically perched above the Azat River Gorge. Explore the nearby Garni Gorge, famous for its “Symphony of Stones” basalt column formations. Proceed to the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, partially carved into the rock and surrounded by towering cliffs, an awe-inspiring example of medieval Armenian architecture. Return to Yerevan in the evening. Overnight stay in Yerevan.
Day 04 : Yerevan – Tsaghkadzor – Sevan – Yerevan
After breakfast, depart for the charming spa town of Tsaghkadzor, nestled in the forested mountains. Visit the Kecharis Monastery, a medieval monastic complex, and enjoy a cable car ride up the slopes for breathtaking views. Continue to Lake Sevan, one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world, often referred to as the “Jewel of Armenia.” Visit the Sevanavank Monastery, located on a peninsula with panoramic views of the lake. Return to Yerevan for overnight stay.
Day 05 : Khor Virap – Zvartnots – Megerian Carpet – Yerevan
Begin your day with a visit to Khor Virap Monastery, set against the backdrop of Mount Ararat. This site is one of Armenia’s most important religious landmarks and offers iconic photo opportunities. On your return journey, stop at the ruins of the Zvartnots Cathedral, a 7th-century architectural masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, visit the Megerian Carpet Factory, where you’ll witness the intricate process of Armenian carpet weaving and explore their beautiful showroom showcasing handwoven masterpieces. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 06 : Yerevan – Leisure Day
Today is at leisure for you to explore Yerevan at your own pace. You may choose to revisit your favorite spots, explore more museums such as the History Museum of Armenia or the Genocide Memorial & Museum, or enjoy shopping at local boutiques and cozy cafés. You could also indulge in Armenian culinary experiences or enjoy a cultural show in the evening. Overnight in Yerevan.
Day 07 : Departure
After breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to Zvartnots International Airport for your onward flight, carrying with you unforgettable memories of Armenia’s rich culture, history, and scenic beauty.
