Day 01 : Arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport – Kalimpong (75 kms / Approx. 3 hours)

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), you will be warmly received by our representative. Embark on a picturesque drive of about 75 kilometers, taking approximately 3 hours, to the serene hill town of Kalimpong. Nestled in the Himalayan foothills, Kalimpong offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and colonial charm. After check-in, you may explore the Durpin Monastery, perched atop Durpin Hill with stunning views of the Teesta River valley. Day 02 : Kalimpong – Darjeeling (57 kms / Approx. 2.5 hours)

After a relaxing breakfast, check out and drive towards the iconic hill station of Darjeeling, covering a scenic 57 km route in approximately 2.5 hours. En route, enjoy captivating views of tea gardens, forested hills, and winding mountain roads. On arrival, check in to your hotel and unwind. Later, take a leisurely stroll around the Mall Road (Chowrasta) and explore the local markets. You can also visit Shrubbery Nightingale Park or enjoy the crisp mountain air with a cup of Darjeeling tea at a cozy café.Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 03 : Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Begin your day early with a drive to Tiger Hill (around 4:00 AM) to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On your return, visit the Batasia Loop, an engineering marvel offering panoramic views, and the sacred Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, continue your tour with visits to the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (home to red pandas and snow leopards), the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and Tenzing Rock, ideal for photo stops. Day 04 : Darjeeling – Pelling (80 kms / Approx. 4 hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive to the tranquil town of Pelling, located about 80 kilometers away – a journey of around 4 hours through lush valleys and scenic ridges. On arrival, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the peaceful surroundings or simply relax with views of the Kanchenjunga Range from your hotel. In the evening, you can opt for a stroll around Helipad Ground, which offers sweeping views of the mountains.Overnight stay in Pelling.

Day 05 : Pelling Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Pelling. Begin with a visit to the ancient Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest and most important Nyingma monasteries in Sikkim. Continue to the Rabdentse Ruins, the archaeological remains of Sikkim’s second capital, offering both historical insights and panoramic views. Next, visit the stunning Rimbi Waterfalls and Khangchendzonga Waterfalls, cascading amidst lush greenery. In the afternoon, explore the serene Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred lake revered by Buddhists and Hindus alike. Day 06 : Pelling – Gangtok via Chardham (150 kms / Approx. 5 hours)

Today, check out and proceed to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, covering approximately 150 km in 5 hours. En route, make a significant stop at Siddhesvara Dham (Chardham) in Namchi, a grand spiritual complex featuring replicas of the four sacred Dhams of India, along with a towering statue of Lord Shiva. After paying your respects and enjoying the majestic setting, continue your drive to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. The evening is free for leisure or a walk on MG Marg, the heart of Gangtok’s shopping and cultural scene.Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 07 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Optional Nathula Pass at Extra Cost)

After an early breakfast, gear up for a memorable excursion to Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,310 ft and about 40 km from Gangtok. This glacial lake is famous for its changing hues and spiritual significance. Continue further to the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, dedicated to the revered Indian Army soldier believed to guard the borders. Subject to weather and permit availability, you may also opt to visit Nathula Pass (14,140 ft) on the Indo-China border—one of the highest motorable roads in the world (at an additional cost). Return to Gangtok by evening for overnight stay.

Day 08 : Gangtok – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (120 kms / Approx. 5 hours)

After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, covering approximately 120 kilometers in about 5 hours. As you descend through the lush mountain terrain, cherish the memories of your enchanting Himalayan sojourn through the diverse beauty and culture of Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Pelling, and Gangtok.
