Day 01 : Arrival in Agartala – Local Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Agartala Airport or Railway Station, you will be received by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Agartala, the capital of Tripura, offers a blend of historical landmarks, rich tribal heritage, and Indo-Bangladeshi cultural fusion. After some rest, proceed for local sightseeing. Visit the elegant Ujjayanta Palace, a former royal palace with Mughal-style gardens and now a state museum. Continue to the Heritage Park, a lush green area showcasing Tripura’s culture and biodiversity. End the day with a visit to Jagannath Temple, a beautifully carved 19th-century structure. Overnight stay in Agartala.
Day 02 : Agartala – Neermahal – Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary (Approx. 110 kms round trip / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Neermahal, located about 55 km from Agartala. Neermahal, or the "Water Palace," is an architectural marvel situated in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake. Built by Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya, it reflects a unique blend of Hindu and Mughal styles. After exploring the palace and enjoying optional boat rides, drive to Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, home to rare species including the spectacled monkey and clouded leopard. Enjoy the zoo, botanical garden, and lake within the sanctuary, and take a serene boat ride if time permits. Return to Agartala by evening. Overnight stay in Agartala.
Day 03 : Agartala – Unakoti – Jampui Hills (Approx. 185 kms / 6 hrs)
Post breakfast, drive towards Unakoti, a hidden archaeological gem and ancient Shaivite pilgrimage site. Unakoti is renowned for its gigantic rock-cut sculptures and carvings dating back to the 7th–9th centuries, including a stunning 30-foot-high image of Lord Shiva known as "Unakotishwara Kal Bhairava." After exploring this mystical site, continue your journey to Jampui Hills, the highest hill range in Tripura. Known for its orange orchards, pleasant weather, and panoramic views, Jampui offers a peaceful escape in the clouds. Upon arrival, check in to your hill resort and relax amidst the misty surroundings. Overnight stay in Jampui Hills.
Day 04 : Jampui Hills – Tripura Sundari Temple – Chabimura – Agartala (Approx. 230 kms / 6.5 hrs)
After breakfast, begin your return journey toward Agartala with two important en-route stops. First, visit the sacred Tripura Sundari Temple at Udaipur, located about 110 km from Jampui Hills. One of the 51 Shakti Peethas, this revered temple houses the idol of Goddess Kali and attracts thousands of devotees. Continue to Chabimura, known as the “Ajanta of the East,” to witness its unique rock carvings on the steep cliffs by the Gomati River. The highlight here is the massive carving of Goddess Durga and other Hindu deities etched into the rocky face—best viewed via boat ride. After the sightseeing, return to Agartala for an overnight stay.
Day 05 : Departure from Agartala
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Agartala Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying with you the spiritual resonance, scenic beauty, and tribal heritage of Tripura.
