Day 01 : Arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport – Transfer to Gangtok (120 kms / approx. 5 hrs)
Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra Airport (IXB), you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. Begin your scenic journey towards Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, nestled in the Eastern Himalayas. Enjoy the serene drive through winding roads, river valleys, and lush greenery. On arrival in Gangtok, check in at your hotel and relax. The day is free for leisure and acclimatization. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 02 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Nathula Pass visit at an extra cost)
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, set out on a full-day excursion to the mesmerizing Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The glacial lake is considered sacred and offers a surreal view of the snow-covered surroundings. Continue to the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a temple built in honor of a soldier who is believed to guard the borders spiritually. Depending on permit availability and weather conditions, you may opt for an additional visit to Nathula Pass, an Indo-China border point (at an extra cost). Return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 03 : Gangtok to Lachen (107 kms / approx. 6 hrs)
Post breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the quaint mountain village of Lachen, located in North Sikkim. The route winds through picturesque valleys, alpine forests, and cascading waterfalls. En route, stop at places like Tashi View Point, Kabi Longstok, Seven Sisters Waterfalls, and the Naga Waterfall. On arrival in Lachen (9,400 ft), check into your hotel and spend the evening relaxing amidst tranquil surroundings. Overnight stay in Lachen.
Day 04 : Excursion To Chopta Valley – Gurudongmar Lake (Approx. 120 kms total travel / 7-8 hrs)
Rise early for a breathtaking journey to the high-altitude Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft), one of the highest and most sacred lakes in the world. En route, pass through the dramatic Chopta Valley, a region adorned with wildflowers and stunning mountain views. After spending some unforgettable moments at the pristine lake, return to Lachen for lunch. Post lunch, proceed to Lachung, another beautiful hamlet in North Sikkim (8,800 ft), known for its enchanting landscapes. Check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Lachung.
Day 05 : Excursion to Yumthang Valley – Valley of Flowers
After breakfast, drive towards the spellbinding Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), also known as the Valley of Flowers. En route, witness the hot springs and scenic alpine beauty. In spring, the valley blooms with rhododendrons, while in winter, it transforms into a white wonderland. Optional visit to Zero Point (extra cost) for those who wish to experience snow even closer to the Indo-China border. Return to Lachung by afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Lachung.
Day 06 : Lachung to Gangtok (103 kms / approx. 6 hrs)
Post breakfast, bid farewell to Lachung and begin your return journey to Gangtok. Drive through lush valleys and mountain streams as you descend towards the capital city. On arrival in Gangtok, check into your hotel and relax or explore the local markets for some last-minute shopping. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 07 : Gangtok – NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport Drop (120 kms / approx. 5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you beautiful memories of the serene Sikkim Himalayas.
