Day 01 : Arrival at Dimapur

Upon your arrival at Dimapur Airport or Railway Station, our representative will warmly welcome you. Dimapur, known as the commercial hub of Nagaland, offers a subtle introduction to the region’s heritage. After check-in at the hotel, spend the rest of the day at leisure or opt for a short local sightseeing tour. You may visit the Kachari Ruins, a 10th-century monument of great historical significance, representing the Dimasa Kingdom. Later, explore the local market for indigenous crafts and Naga tribal souvenirs. Overnight stay in Dimapur.

Day 02 : Dimapur to Kohima (Approx. 74 km / 3 hours)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland nestled amidst the rolling hills. En route, enjoy views of terraced valleys and rustic tribal villages. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, visit the Kohima War Cemetery, a serene and moving memorial dedicated to the soldiers of World War II. Later, drive past the Chief Minister’s Residence and explore the bustling local bazaar, famous for unique tribal produce and organic goods. Evening at leisure to soak in the tranquil surroundings. Overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 03 : Kohima City Tour

After a hearty breakfast, set out on a guided city tour of Kohima. Begin with a visit to the Nagaland State Museum, which houses a rich collection of tribal artifacts, traditional attires, and ancient weaponry. Continue to Kisama Heritage Village, the venue of the world-famous Hornbill Festival, where traditional huts of various Naga tribes are preserved to reflect their diverse cultures. Later, visit the Catholic Cathedral, one of the largest in North East India, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys. You may also explore the Naga Bazaar, where locals trade rare foods, livestock, and forest produce. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 04 : Kohima – Tuophema (Approx. 40 km / 1.5 hours)

Post breakfast, drive to the serene village of Tuophema, located atop a hill surrounded by pine trees and meadows. On arrival, check into the Tuophema Tourist Village, a community-run eco-tourism initiative offering traditional Angami-style cottages. Spend the day experiencing authentic Naga lifestyle, visiting the village museum, and tasting traditional cuisine prepared by local hosts. Enjoy a peaceful nature walk through the forest trails or engage in storytelling sessions with the village elders. In the evening, subject to availability, enjoy a folk dance performance showcasing the vibrant cultural heritage of the Angami tribe. Overnight stay at Tuophema.

Day 05 : Tuophema – Dimapur Departure (Approx. 90 km / 3.5 hours)

After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Dimapur for your onward travel. En route, enjoy the scenic landscapes one last time, capturing beautiful memories of your journey through the hills of Nagaland. Arrive at Dimapur and transfer to the airport or railway station for your departure with unforgettable memories of Nagaland’s rich tribal culture, warmth, and natural beauty.
