Day 01 : Arrival in Aizawl – Local Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Lengpui Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Aizawl, the scenic capital of Mizoram. After check-in and some rest, proceed for a relaxed city tour. Begin with a visit to the grand Solomon’s Temple, followed by the Mizoram State Museum at McDonald Hill, which offers insights into Mizo culture, tribal traditions, and artifacts. In the evening, stroll through Bara Bazar, Aizawl’s vibrant local market, to experience everyday life and shop for traditional handloom products.Overnight stay in Aizawl.

Day 02 : Aizawl – Reiek Village and Trekking (Approx. 30 km / 1.5 hours one way)

After breakfast, depart for a scenic drive to Reiek Village, located amid forested hills to the west of Aizawl. On arrival, explore the Reiek Heritage Village, which showcases traditional Mizo tribal homes. Then begin your trek to Reiek Tlang (Peak), located at an altitude of about 1,500 meters. The trail is moderate and offers magnificent views of the surrounding hills, and on clear days, even the distant plains of Bangladesh. Day 03 : Aizawl – Hmuifang Tlang (Approx. 50 km / 2 hours one way)

Following breakfast, proceed southward to Hmuifang Tlang, a hill station perched at 1,619 meters. The drive passes through lush green hills and traditional villages. On arrival, visit the Hmuifang Tourist Resort, nestled among pine forests and grassy meadows. The area is ideal for nature lovers, and you can take a short hike to Hmuifang Peak, which offers tranquil views and fresh mountain air. Day 04 : Aizawl – Tamdil Lake (Approx. 85 km / 3 hours one way)

After breakfast, head east for an excursion to Tamdil Lake, the largest natural lake in Mizoram. The journey offers beautiful views of rolling hills and quiet villages. Surrounded by dense tropical forests, Tamdil is a serene destination perfect for boating and picnicking. You can relax by the lake, take a boat ride, or explore nearby forest trails. Day 05 : Aizawl – Saitual – Lunglei (Approx. 170 km / 6–7 hours)

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Lunglei, the second-largest town in Mizoram, via Saitual. The route takes you through scenic mountain landscapes, traditional Mizo villages, and lush valleys. There will be comfort stops and opportunities to enjoy the rural charm of Mizoram. Day 06 : Lunglei – Phawngpui National Park – Return to Aizawl (Approx. 225 km round trip)

After an early breakfast, proceed on an excursion to Phawngpui, also known as the Blue Mountain, the highest peak in Mizoram at 2,157 meters and part of Phawngpui National Park. Located about 115 km from Lunglei, this area is a haven for trekkers and nature lovers. With its stunning cliffs, rare orchids, and rich birdlife—including the endangered Blyth’s tragopan—Phawngpui offers a truly majestic experience. Day 07 : Departure from Aizawl
