Day 01 : Arrival in Aizawl – Local Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Lengpui Airport (Aizawl), you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Aizawl city. Nestled among the hills, Aizawl is the cultural and administrative capital of Mizoram. After check-in and a brief rest, begin your local sightseeing with a visit to the Solomon’s Temple, a stunning piece of modern architecture and an important religious landmark. Continue to the State Museum at McDonald Hill, where you can explore exhibits on Mizo heritage, crafts, and tribal traditions. Later, visit the lively Bara Bazar, the city's main market where you can witness local life and shop for Mizo handlooms and handicrafts. Please note that breakfast is not included today.Overnight stay in Aizawl.
Day 02 : Aizawl – Reiek Village – Reiek Tlang (Approx. 30 km / 1.5 hours one way)
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day excursion to Reiek Village, a traditional Mizo settlement located in the hills west of Aizawl. Reiek offers a beautiful blend of cultural heritage and nature. Explore the Reiek Heritage Village, which features traditional Mizo huts representing different tribal communities. From here, hike up to Reiek Tlang (Reiek Peak), located at an altitude of over 1,500 meters, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and, on clear days, even the plains of Bangladesh. Return to Aizawl by evening, enjoying the scenic drive through verdant landscapes.Overnight stay at Aizawl.
Day 03 : Aizawl – Hmuifang Tlang (Approx. 50 km / 2 hours one way)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Hmuifang Tlang, a serene hill station located south of Aizawl at an altitude of 1,619 meters. En route, enjoy the lush countryside and glimpses of traditional Mizo villages. Upon arrival, visit the Hmuifang Tourist Resort, set amidst pine forests and rolling meadows. Take in the stunning views and explore the Hmuifang Peak, known for its untouched natural beauty and rich biodiversity. If you're inclined, enjoy short nature walks or a picnic in this peaceful environment. Later in the day, return to Aizawl.Overnight stay at Aizawl.
Day 04 : Aizawl – Tamdil Lake (Approx. 85 km / 3 hours one way)
After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to Tamdil Lake, the largest natural lake in Mizoram, located near Saitual town. The route offers scenic countryside views and tranquil surroundings. Surrounded by thick tropical forests, Tamdil is a popular picnic and boating spot. Enjoy a relaxing time by the lakeside, take photos, and explore the nearby forests if time permits. The calm waters and natural setting make it a refreshing break from urban life. In the evening, return to Aizawl.Overnight stay at Aizawl.
Day 05 : Departure from Aizawl
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Lengpui Airport for your onward journey. Depart with lasting memories of the misty hills, warm hospitality, and unique tribal culture of Mizoram.
