Day 01 : Arrival in Imphal
Upon arrival at Imphal Airport, you will be warmly received and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and acclimate to the tranquil surroundings of this scenic capital city of Manipur. You may explore the local markets or enjoy a quiet evening at leisure.Overnight stay in Imphal.
Day 02 : Imphal Sightseeing (Local Travel: Approx. 60 km)
After breakfast, embark on a comprehensive city tour of Imphal, a place steeped in history and cultural charm. Begin your day at the iconic Kangla Fort, the historical heart of Manipur and former seat of the Meitei rulers. Continue to the Shree Govindajee Temple, a revered Vaishnavite place of worship known for its spiritual significance and graceful architecture. Next, visit the Manipur State Museum, which offers a rich insight into the tribal heritage, historical artifacts, and traditional costumes of the region. In the afternoon, explore Ima Keithel (Mother’s Market), Asia’s largest all-women-run market, a vibrant hub for local handloom, handicrafts, and produce. Later, pay homage at the INA Museum at Moirang, dedicated to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army, followed by a visit to the Japanese War Memorial at Red Hill, a reminder of World War II battles fought on Manipuri soil.Overnight stay at Imphal.
Day 03 : Excursion to Moreh – Indo-Myanmar Border (Approx. 110 km / 3.5 to 4 hours one way)
After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to Moreh, a dynamic border town connecting India and Myanmar. Enjoy a scenic drive through the lush green hills of Tengnoupal. Upon arrival at Moreh, proceed to the Indo-Myanmar Friendship Gate, and if border formalities allow, cross over to visit the Namphalong Market on the Myanmar side – a lively trading center for Burmese goods, textiles, and spices. Take in the unique blend of cultures and enjoy cross-border interactions before driving back to Imphal in the evening.Overnight stay at Imphal.
Day 04 : Ukhrul Excursion (Imphal to Ukhrul: Approx. 85 km / 3 hours one way)
Following breakfast, depart for a picturesque day trip to Ukhrul, home of the Tangkhul Nagas and a district known for its scenic beauty and rolling green hills. Visit the Shirui Hills, which are famous for the rare Shirui Lily—a flower found only in this region (best seen during the blooming season from May to June). Continue to Khangkhui Mangsor Cave, a natural limestone cave rich in legend and prehistoric importance. Enjoy the tranquil environment, panoramic landscapes, and cultural richness before returning to Imphal in the evening.Overnight stay at Imphal.
Day 05 : Andro Village & Khongjom War Memorial (Approx. 100 km round trip)
After breakfast, proceed for a cultural and historical day tour. First, visit Andro Village, a picturesque settlement known for its traditional pottery, tribal art, and the Andro Cultural Complex, which preserves the heritage of the Manipuri tribes. Here you can witness local artisans at work and understand the lifestyle of the region’s early settlers. Later, drive to Khongjom, a historically significant site where the Anglo-Manipur War of 1891 was fought. Visit the Khongjom War Memorial, India’s tallest sword statue, honoring the valor and sacrifice of Manipuri soldiers. Return to Imphal by evening.Overnight stay at Imphal.
Day 06 : Departure from Imphal
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Imphal Airport for your onward journey. Depart with cherished memories of the beautiful hills, unique tribal culture, and heroic history of Manipur.
