Day 01 : Arrival in Leh
Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh (3,500 meters), you will be received by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Take the day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening, you may take a leisurely stroll to explore the vibrant Leh Market, visit Shanti Stupa for panoramic sunset views, or explore Leh Palace, which echoes the grandeur of Ladakhi royalty.Overnight Stay at Leh.
Day 02 : Leh – Lamayuru – Sham Valley (160 Kms / 6–7 Hrs)
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, begin your journey towards Lamayuru, home to one of the oldest and most scenic monasteries in Ladakh. En route, stop at Magnetic Hill, the intriguing Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and witness the magical confluence of Zanskar and Indus Rivers at Nimmu. Continue your drive through dramatic moon-like landscapes to reach Lamayuru Monastery. After exploration, head towards Sham Valley, a region rich in Ladakhi culture and rural charm.Overnight Stay at Sham Valley.
Day 03 : Sham Valley – Leh (160 Kms / 6–7 Hrs)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and drive back to Leh, retracing the picturesque route. On the way, you may choose to visit Alchi Monastery, famous for its intricate wall paintings dating back to the 11th century. Upon arrival in Leh, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Optional visit to Hall of Fame, a war memorial museum honoring Indian soldiers.Overnight Stay ar Leh.
Day 04 : Leh – Pangong Lake (140 Kms / 4–5 Hrs)
After an early breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive to the breathtaking Pangong Lake via Changla Pass (5,360 meters), the third highest motorable road in the world. Upon reaching Pangong Tso, marvel at its surreal blue waters that change shades with the sunlight. The lake stretches over 130 km, with only one-third of it lying in India. It has also gained fame through Bollywood, especially the movie 3 Idiots. Spend the rest of the day soaking in the pristine beauty of this high-altitude lake.Overnight Stay at Pangong Lake (campsite or eco-huts).
Day 05 : Pangong Lake – Leh (140 Kms / 4–5 Hrs)
Wake up to the serene views of Pangong Lake and enjoy breakfast at the camp. Later, begin your return journey to Leh, once again crossing Changla Pass. Upon arrival in Leh, the evening is free for rest or local sightseeing. You can visit Spituk Monastery or do some souvenir shopping in Leh's bustling Tibetan Market.Overnight Stay at Leh.
Day 06 : Leh – Nubra Valley (120 Kms / 4–5 Hrs)
Post breakfast at the hotel, drive to the enchanting Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardung La Pass (5,602 meters), which is among the highest motorable roads on Earth. Upon entering Nubra, notice the landscape transform into cold desert with sand dunes, especially near Hunder, where you can enjoy a Bactrian camel ride. Visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra.Overnight Stay at Nubra Valley (Hunder or Diskit).
Day 07 : Nubra Valley – Leh (120 Kms / 4–5 Hrs)
After breakfast at the camp/hotel, begin your return to Leh via the same picturesque route over Khardung La Pass. On arrival, check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure — ideal for café-hopping, a Tibetan massage, or visiting Thiksey Monastery, known for its resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa.Overnight Stay at Leh.
Day 08 : Leh – Tsomoriri Lake (240 Kms / 7–8 Hrs)
After an early breakfast at the hotel, depart for Tsomoriri Lake, a hidden gem located at an altitude of 4,522 meters in the Changthang Plateau. The route takes you through breathtaking valleys, Mahe Bridge, and rugged terrains. Tsomoriri is a haven for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with frequent sightings of black-necked cranes, kiangs (wild asses), and marmots. The peaceful lake is less commercialized and ideal for those seeking tranquility.Overnight Stay at Tsomoriri.
Day 09 : Leh – Tsomoriri Lake (240 Kms / 7–8 Hrs)
Enjoy your breakfast at the camp before starting one of the most dramatic drives of your journey. Head towards Tsokar Lake, another high-altitude saltwater lake known for its stark beauty. Then ascend the scenic Taglang La Pass (5,328 meters) — the second highest motorable pass in Ladakh. The journey back to Leh is packed with panoramic Himalayan views and thrilling road bends. Arrive in Leh by late evening.Overnight Stay at Leh.
Day 10 : Departure from Leh
After a final breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight. Depart with unforgettable memories of the rugged landscapes, mystical monasteries, and warm Ladakhi hospitality.
