Day 01 : Bangalore – Chikkamagaluru (242 kms / approx. 5 hours)

Welcome to your Karnataka tour! Upon arrival in Bangalore, begin your scenic drive towards Chikkamagaluru, a charming hill town nestled in the Western Ghats, known for its sprawling coffee plantations and mist-covered hills. The route offers picturesque countryside views and glimpses of local village life. After reaching Chikkamagaluru, check into your hotel or resort and relax amidst the cool mountain air. No breakfast is included today due to early travel.

Day 02 : Chikkamagaluru Sightseeing

After a refreshing breakfast at the hotel, set out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Chikkamagaluru. Begin your journey with a visit to the Mullayanagiri Peak, the highest point in Karnataka, offering panoramic views and fresh mountain breezes. Continue to Baba Budangiri Hills, a sacred site shared by both Hindus and Muslims, and known for its caves and hiking trails. Later, visit the tranquil Hirekolale Lake, ideal for photography and relaxation. End your day at Coffee Museum, where you can learn about the region’s rich coffee heritage and enjoy a fresh brew. Return to the hotel for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 03 : Chikkamagaluru – Coorg (162 kms / approx. 4 hours)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for the scenic hill station of Coorg, also known as Kodagu – a land of rolling coffee estates, forested slopes, and misty landscapes. On arrival, check into your resort and unwind. In the evening, visit Raja’s Seat, a beautiful garden with a viewpoint that offers a stunning sunset over the valleys. If time permits, stroll through local markets to shop for spices, homemade chocolates, and Coorg honey.

Day 04 : Coorg Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Coorg’s major attractions. Begin with a visit to the magnificent Abbey Falls, nestled within a lush coffee estate. Continue to Talacauvery, the sacred source of the River Cauvery, and enjoy the spiritual ambiance and scenic views from Brahmagiri Hill. Next, explore the beautiful Omkareshwara Temple, known for its unique blend of Islamic and Gothic architecture. Conclude the day at the Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can watch elephants being bathed and fed, or even interact with them. Return to your hotel to relax.

Day 05 : Coorg – Kabini (120 kms / approx. 4 hours)

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel and check out to proceed towards Kabini, a renowned wildlife destination in Karnataka. On reaching Kabini, check into your forest lodge or riverside resort. Spend your afternoon at leisure, soaking in the natural beauty and serenity of the surroundings. Optional activities include a short nature walk, riverside relaxation, or a traditional ayurvedic massage at the resort.

Day 06 : Leisure in Kabini

After breakfast, enjoy a leisure day in Kabini. You may choose to participate in a wildlife safari in the Kabini Forest Reserve or Nagarhole National Park, home to elephants, tigers, leopards, and over 300 species of birds. Alternatively, opt for a boat safari along the Kabini River for an excellent chance to spot wildlife along the banks. In the evening, unwind by a campfire or indulge in local cuisine under the stars.

Day 07 : Kabini – Mysore (23 kms / approx. 1 hour)

Post breakfast, check out and drive to the royal city of Mysore, just an hour away. On arrival, check into your hotel and begin sightseeing. Visit the grand Mysore Palace, an architectural marvel and a highlight of any trip to South India. Next, head to Chamundi Hill to seek blessings at the Chamundeshwari Temple and enjoy panoramic city views. Later, explore the Brindavan Gardens, especially beautiful in the evening with its illuminated fountains and well-manicured lawns.

Day 08 : Mysore – Bangalore Drop (143 kms / approx. 3 hours)

Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Drive back to Bangalore, where your memorable journey concludes. If time permits, you can visit Bangalore Palace or shop for souvenirs on Commercial Street before being dropped off at your desired location for your onward journey.
