Classic Jharkhand – 6 Days

Day 01 : Arrival in Ranchi – Local Sightseeing

Upon arrival at Ranchi Airport or Railway Station, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After freshening up, begin your sightseeing tour of Ranchi. Visit Ranchi Hill and Pahari Mandir, which offers a panoramic view of the city. Next, explore the Rock Garden, uniquely designed with sculptures and waterfalls, located adjacent to Kanke Dam. End the day with a peaceful visit to Tagore Hill, associated with the works of Rabindranath Tagore. (No breakfast included on the day of arrival). Overnight stay in Ranchi.

Day 02 : Visit Dassam Falls – Jonha Falls – Hundru Falls (Approx. 100 Kms Round Trip / 4-5 Hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic waterfall trail around Ranchi. First, visit Dassam Falls, a spectacular cascade of the Kanchi River dropping from a height of 144 feet. Then head to Jonha Falls, also known as Gautamdhara, named after Gautam Buddha and known for its religious significance and tranquil surroundings. Finally, visit Hundru Falls, the tallest among Ranchi’s waterfalls, where the Subarnarekha River plummets from a height of 320 feet into a rocky gorge. Return to Ranchi in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 : Ranchi – Netarhat (Approx. 155 Kms / 5 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Netarhat, popularly called the “Queen of Chotanagpur” for its cool climate and untouched natural beauty. On the way, you’ll pass through dense forests, tribal villages, and the picturesque Ghats. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Visit Upper Ghaghri Waterfall, a serene spot hidden within the Sal forests. In the evening, don’t miss the stunning sunset view from Sunset Point. Overnight stay in Netarhat.

Day 04 : Netarhat – Betla National Park (Approx. 100 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out to continue your journey toward Betla National Park, one of India’s earliest Tiger Reserves. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge or forest accommodation. Later, explore the national park via jeep safari (optional, at own cost), where you may spot wildlife such as bison, elephants, deer, leopards, and various bird species. Also visit the historic Palamu Fort, hidden within the dense forest and rich in history and mystery. Overnight stay in Betla.

Day 05 : Betla National Park – Hazaribagh (Approx. 180 Kms / 5.5 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Hazaribagh, another nature-rich destination in Jharkhand known for its plateau forests and wildlife. On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, visit the Hazaribagh Lake, a serene spot ideal for walks and boating, and explore Canary Hill, offering scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Overnight stay in Hazaribagh.

Day 06 : Hazaribagh – Ranchi – Departure (Approx. 100 Kms / 3 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Ranchi. Depending on your flight or train schedule, you may have time to visit local markets or enjoy a meal in the city. Later, you will be dropped at Ranchi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding your memorable nature and culture-filled journey through Jharkhand.
