Day 01 : Arrival at Ahmedabad
Welcome to Ahmedabad, the cultural and historical heart of Gujarat. Upon arrival at the airport or railway station, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax for the rest of the day. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore nearby local markets or take an evening stroll along the Sabarmati Riverfront. Day 02 : Ahmedabad – Polo Forest (Approx. 146 km / 3 hrs)
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive to Polo Forest, located in the foothills of the Aravalli Range in the Sabarkantha district. The journey takes approximately 3 hours (146 km) through lush green surroundings. Upon arrival, check in to your eco-resort or campsite and enjoy a peaceful afternoon in nature. In the evening, take a gentle walk around the forest to soak in the fresh air and tranquil environment. Overnight stay at Polo Forest.
Day 03 : Polo Forest Sightseeing
Enjoy your morning breakfast amidst nature and prepare for a day of exploration in and around Polo Forest. Begin with a guided walk through the ancient Jain and Shiva temples, dating back to the 15th century, nestled deep within the forest. These ruins offer a fascinating glimpse into Gujarat's historical architecture. Later, explore the Harnav River, and if you're feeling adventurous, hike up the Vanaj Dam viewpoint for panoramic views of the forested valley. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore nature trails, birdwatching, or simply relaxing. Overnight stay at Polo Forest.
Day 04 : Polo Forest – Shamlaji – Zanzari Waterfall – Ahmedabad (Approx. 136 km / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Ahmedabad. En route, stop at Shamlaji Temple (approx. 40 km from Polo Forest), an important Vaishnavite pilgrimage site situated on the banks of the Meshwo River. The intricate carvings and spiritual atmosphere make it a must-visit. Continue your journey and take a scenic detour to Zanzari Waterfall, a picturesque cascade near Dehgam, perfect for photography and nature lovers. After a refreshing stop, drive back to Ahmedabad (approx. 136 km total journey). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 05 : Departure from Ahmedabad
After your final breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Your memorable trip filled with nature, culture, and spiritual exploration comes to an end, leaving you with beautiful memories of North Gujarat.
