Kutch Special – 6 Days

Day 01 : Arrival in Rajkot – Wankaner – Bhujodi (Approx. 235 km / 5.5 hours)

Upon arrival at Rajkot Airport or Railway Station, you will be received by our representative and begin your journey towards Wankaner, located around 55 km from Rajkot. After a scenic drive of about 1.5 hours, explore the Wankaner Palace (Ranjit Vilas Palace)—a beautiful example of Indo-European architecture once home to the royal family of Wankaner. Continue your journey to Bhujodi, a renowned craft village just outside Bhuj, approximately 180 km from Wankaner. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening. Overnight stay in Bhujodi.

Day 02 : Bhujodi – Heera Laxmi Memorial Park – Mandvi (Approx. 70 km / 2 hours)

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then proceed to explore Heera Laxmi Craft Park, an interactive artisan village supported by Hiralaxmi Memorial Foundation. It showcases live demonstrations of traditional Kutchi art forms including weaving, embroidery, pottery, and wood carving. Later, continue your drive to Mandvi, a historical port town located on the coast of the Arabian Sea. On arrival, check in at your beach resort or heritage hotel. In the afternoon, visit the grand Vijay Vilas Palace, the royal summer retreat set in lush gardens, famous for its Rajput architecture and cinematic backdrops. End the day at Mandvi Beach, enjoying the sunset, camel rides, and the sound of crashing waves. Overnight stay in Mandvi.

Day 03 : Mandvi – Koteshwar – Narayan Sarovar (Approx. 200 km / 4.5 hours)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin your spiritual coastal journey to Narayan Sarovar, one of the five holy lakes in Hindu mythology, situated at the western edge of Kutch. En route, stop at Koteshwar Mahadev Temple, located at the Arabian Sea’s edge, offering panoramic ocean views and spiritual serenity. Continue to Narayan Sarovar Temple Complex, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, where mythology meets peace. The area is also significant for migratory birds and desert wildlife. On arrival, check in to a simple guesthouse or dharamshala-style accommodation near the temple complex. Overnight stay in Narayan Sarovar.

Day 04 : Narayan Sarovar – Lakhpat – Dhordo (Approx. 200 km / 5 hours)

After a traditional breakfast at your stay, check out and drive to the intriguing Lakhpat Fort, a once-prosperous port town now partially in ruins, known for its majestic fort walls and panoramic views of the Rann. Visit the Gurudwara Lakhpat Sahib, associated with Guru Nanak Dev’s travels, and the Sayyed Pir’s tomb, which highlights the town’s spiritual harmony. Continue your journey towards Dhordo, the gateway to the White Rann of Kutch. Upon arrival, check in to a beautifully crafted tented resort or mud-house stay. Spend your evening witnessing the surreal sunset over the salt desert. Overnight stay in Dhordo.

Day 05 : Excursion To Kalo Dungar & Dholavira (Approx. 310 km round trip / 6–7 hours)

Enjoy your morning breakfast at the camp, and set out for an extraordinary day of cultural and geographical exploration. First, drive to Kalo Dungar (Black Hill), the highest point in Kutch, offering panoramic views of the Great Rann and the Indo-Pak border area. Next, proceed to Dholavira, an ancient city of the Indus Valley Civilization, located on Khadir Bet island in the Rann. Explore the excavated ruins, including water reservoirs, city planning, and Harappan script inscriptions. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a deep insight into early urban life. After a fulfilling day, return to Dhordo for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06 : Dhordo – Rajkot Airport Drop (Approx. 400 km / 7.5 hours)

After a delightful breakfast at the resort, check out and begin your journey back to Rajkot. The long yet scenic drive of approximately 400 km will take around 7.5 hours. En route, enjoy the changing landscapes—from salt flats to semi-arid plains and traditional village settlements. On arrival in Rajkot, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Your culturally vibrant and spiritually enriching Kutch tour concludes with unforgettable memories.
