Day 01 : Arrival at Ahmedabad – Transfer to Ambaji (Approx. 180 km / 4.5 hrs)
Upon your arrival at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our tour representative. After a brief welcome and assistance with your luggage, begin your journey to the holy town of Ambaji, located near the Gujarat-Rajasthan border in the Aravalli hills. The scenic drive of around 180 km takes approximately 4.5 hours, offering glimpses of rural Gujarat along the way.
Upon arrival in Ambaji, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, visit the revered Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India. This ancient temple is dedicated to Goddess Amba and is a significant pilgrimage site for devotees from across the country. Witness the evening aarti and soak in the divine atmosphere of the temple complex. Overnight stay at a hotel in Ambaji.
Day 02 : Ambaji Sightseeing – Spiritual Exploration & Natural Beauty
AAfter breakfast, proceed to explore the spiritually rich and naturally beautiful surroundings of Ambaji. Begin your day with a visit to the sacred Gabbar Hill, located about 4 km from the main temple. It is believed to be the original seat of the goddess, and pilgrims often climb the 999 steps to reach the top. Alternatively, you can take the cable car/ropeway to enjoy panoramic views of the Aravalli range and the temple town below.
Later, visit Kumbhariya Jain Temples, just 2 km away from Ambaji. This lesser-known but architecturally stunning site is a complex of intricately carved marble temples built between the 11th and 13th centuries, dedicated to different Jain Tirthankaras.
You may also explore Koteshwar Mahadev Temple, located about 8 km from Ambaji, nestled near the Saraswati river. It’s a peaceful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and is a lovely spot for quiet reflection or a riverside picnic.
Return to Ambaji in the evening for another peaceful Darshan or simply relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Ambaji.
Day 03 : Ambaji – Ahmedabad Departure (Approx. 180 km / 4.5 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your return journey to Ahmedabad. En route, you may stop at Shamlaji Temple (optional, approx. 85 km from Ambaji), another revered temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, known for its exquisite carvings and peaceful location near the Meshwo River.
Continue your drive to Ahmedabad and arrive by late afternoon or evening. You will be dropped at Ahmedabad Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying with you the divine blessings of Ambaji and the serene memories of this spiritual retreat.
