Day 01 : Arrival in Visakhapatnam
Welcome to Visakhapatnam (Vizag) – the serene coastal city of Andhra Pradesh, known for its stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, and scenic surroundings. Upon your arrival at Visakhapatnam Airport or Railway Station, our representative will greet you and assist with your hotel transfer. Check in and take some time to relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to take an evening stroll along the popular RK Beach and witness a beautiful sunset over the Bay of Bengal. Overnight stay in Visakhapatnam.
Day 02 : Visakhapatnam Local Sightseeing
After a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, begin your full-day exploration of Visakhapatnam’s iconic landmarks. Start with Kailasagiri Hill Park (approx. 10 km from city centre), a hilltop offering panoramic sea views, cable car rides, and massive statues of Lord Shiva and Parvati. Proceed to the Submarine Museum (INS Kurusura) and the TU 142 Aircraft Museum, both located on Beach Road, showcasing naval and aviation history. Next, visit the Visakha Museum to discover artifacts from Andhra’s past. If time permits, include a visit to the Simhachalam Temple (approx. 18 km), dedicated to Lord Narasimha and known for its architectural grandeur. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Visakhapatnam.
Day 03 : Visakhapatnam Beaches
After breakfast, set out for a relaxing and scenic beach-hopping experience. Begin with Rushikonda Beach (approx. 8 km), a popular spot for swimming, jet skiing, and parasailing. Then head to Yarada Beach (approx. 15 km), a secluded and clean stretch surrounded by green hills and perfect for quiet relaxation. En route, stop at Thotlakonda Buddhist Complex, a serene archaeological site offering insight into ancient Buddhist culture along with sweeping ocean views. Continue your beach trail to Bheemili Beach (approx. 25 km from city centre), known for its colonial remnants, lighthouse, and peaceful ambiance. Return to the hotel and unwind. Day 04 : Day Trip to Araku Valley (115 km / approx. 3.5 hrs one way)
Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a full-day excursion to the enchanting Araku Valley, nestled in the Eastern Ghats. The journey (approx. 115 km) offers breathtaking views of green hills, tunnels, waterfalls, and coffee plantations. En route, visit the spectacular Borra Caves, famous for their limestone formations and believed to be over a million years old. In Araku, explore the Tribal Museum, which showcases the region's indigenous culture and lifestyle, and relax in the Padmapuram Gardens, a well-maintained botanical garden with tree-top huts. Optionally, visit the Galikonda Viewpoint, one of the highest points in Andhra Pradesh. After enjoying the cool climate and natural beauty, drive back to Visakhapatnam in the evening. Overnight stay in Visakhapatnam.
Day 05 : Departure from Visakhapatnam
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Our representative will assist you with a transfer to Visakhapatnam Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, bringing back fond memories of beaches, hills, and heritage from your visit to this beautiful coastal region.
